Acci 7 PLUS Accident Insurance

Acci 7 PLUS is an accident insurance product that meets your needs without having to go through any medical examination.

The product has five stand-alone coverages which you can purchase combined or separately, starting from $7 per month. A simple and affordable way to protect you and your family, up to 80 years old.

Eligibility

You are eligible for insurance if:

• you are 0 to 74 years of age
• you have been residing in Canada for more than 12 months
• you are covered by a provincial health insurance plan in Canada
• you have no permanent physical or intellectual disability and are not disabled at the time of application

Coverages

Disability insurance in the event of accident

• Benefit options: $700 or $1,400 per month
• Lifetime maximum of 7 months
• Coverage in the event of total disability following an accident resulting in:
  • Hospitalization
  • Dismemberment
  • Fracture
  • Major burn
  • Major laceration

Accidental death, dismemberment or loss of use

• Benefit options: $70,000, $140,000, $210,000, $280,000 or $350,000

Accidental fracture:

• Benefit options: $7,000 or $14,000 (based on fractured bone)

Extended medical care further to an accident

• Reimbursement of medically necessary expenses incurred in Canada within 12 months of the date the accident took place
• Examples of expenses covered include: hospitalization, ambulance, private home care, laboratory analysis, equipment rental, professional fees (physiotherapist, chiropractor ...), etc.
• Lifetime maximum of $100,000

Hospital benefit in the event of accident

• For hospitalization in Canada or the United States, lasting for 18 hours or more, including day surgeries.
• Benefit options: $70, $140, $210, $280 or $350/day per unit
• Lifetime maximum of 700 days
• A seven-day convalescence benefit for each episode of hospitalization

You have the choice between the two options below:

• Option 1 – Hospital benefit in case of accident
  • $7/month per unit

• Option 2 – Hospital benefit in case of accident or illness
  • Only five medical questions to answer in order to access this extra valuable layer of protection at all times
  • Premium varies based on age at issue (starting from $28/month)
